Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1 Diagnosed case of any stage of cancer 2 Patients above 18 years of age 3 Severity of constipation more than 4 points (an 10-point scale from 1 to 10) 4 Physical performance status less than or equal to 3

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1 Presence of colostomy or gastrointestinal obstruction 2 Presence of loose or watery stool (Bristol stool scale 6 -7) or bowel movement more than 3 /day under routine laxative treatment 3 Estimated life expectancy less than 1 month 4 Colorectal cancer 5 Patients of IBS and IBD 6 Patients receiving concurrent therapy with Opioid derivatives
