Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients with chronic Kidney disease: Among dialysis patients, serum PTH <100 pg/mL, and among patients who are not on dialysis a PTH <65 pg/ml

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Hypersensitivity to teriparatide or any component of the formulation 2. Prior external beam or implant radiation therapy involving the skeleton 3. Bone metastases or history of skeletal malignancies 4. Pregnancy
