Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Hypotensive patients (MAP less then 65mmhg) of age 18 to 80 years in the ICU will be included in the study

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Patients having h/o forearm surgery 2.Local infection 3.Local artery embolism 4.Negative Allenâ??s test 5.Abnormal ulnar artery 6.Patients who had undergone arterial puncture within one-month period immediately preceding the commencement of the trial 7.Abnormal coagulopathy 8.Patients who do not give informed consent
