Caries free children not showing MIH conditions Caries experience; b) Group 2 Children with mixed dentition having normal occlusal relationship Children with presence of one or more decayed (Non cavitated/cavitated/white chalky lesions) missing due to caries or filled tooth surfaces. MIH European academy of Pediatric dentistry criterion is used to record MIH2 with the showing demarcated opacities, showing from white to brownish colour and grouped as follows; c) Group 3 - teeth with mild MIH with or withour posteruptive breakdown with no caries lesions. d) Group 4 â??teeth with severe MIH with posteruptive breakdown of enamel/ dentin with caries lesion.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Exclusion criteria Children on medication for chronic diseases in the last three months Children with special health care needs Children with acute foci of infection in the oral cavity

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
To determine the association of MMP20 in MIH conditions and as a biomarker for dental caries experience particular for dental caries in Indian population. It also contributes to understand the role of MMP20 as biomarker in Indian population as they have known to show ethnic, and geographic specificity.Timepoint: group 1 - saliva samples are collected in first 3 months interval. group 2 - sliva samples are collected during first 6 months interval group 3 - saliva samples are collected in the first 9 months interval group 4 saliva samples are collected i the first 12 months interval and are subjected to Elisa for analysis of MMP20

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
To use it as an educative modelTimepoint: two years
