Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: All total thyroidectomy patients aged between 20 â?? 80 years of age with indications being multi nodular goitre

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: any patients with previous recurrent laryngeal nerve injury and parathyroid disease is excluded from the study and patients with indications other than multi nodular goiter

To study the outcome of capsular dissection technique in the form of transient hypocalcemia ( Hypocalcemia lasting for a duration less than 6 months)in total thyroidectomy patients with indication being multinodular goitreTimepoint: 6 months—

To study the other complications like permanent hypocalcemia ( hypocalcemia lasting for a period of more than 6 months) , permanent recurrent laryngeal nerve palsy and temporary recurrent laryngeal nerve neuropraxias ( temporary loss of motor / sensory function of nerve)Timepoint: 6 months—
