Intervention1: Amalaki Rasayana (INDIGENOUS): Amalaki Rasayana 5gm daily in two divided doses Control Intervention1: Ferrochelate-XT: Folic acid 1.5mg + Elemental iron 100mg single dose daily

Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Pregnant woman willing to participate 2. Woman with Hb level > 8 gm/dl 3. Registration of the women in 12th-16th weeks & follow-up till delivery. 4. Woman aged between 20-35 years of age

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Anaemia other than iron-deficiency 2. Hb level 3. High Risk pregnancy cases like HTN, DM.
