Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: ASA 1 and 2 patients between the age of 40-60 years weighing 50-80 kg undergoing elective surgery under general anaesthesia with accessible epigastric region will be included in the study

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Asa more than or equal to 3 Dyspnoea Uncontrolled hypertension Decompensated heart failure Significant valvular disease Significant carotid stenosis Ejection fraction Respiratory distress Increased intra abdominal pressure Anticipated difficult airway Mental incompetence Pheochromocytoma Ivc non visualuzed

MeasureTime frame
To measure the inferior Vena cava collapsibity index pre-operatively To measure the hemodynamic changes post induction and see its correlation with the inferior vena collapsibility indexTimepoint: Measurement of hemodynamic changes every 1 minute post induction upto 4 minutes and then every 2 minutes upto 10 minutes post intubation
