Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: Cooperative children between the age group of 6-10 years with Frankel behavior rating scale (FBRS) score of 3 or 4 having bilaterally involved vital primary mandibular molars(symptom free, deep carious lesion approaching or encroaching the pulp/ cariously exposed pulp associated with spontaneous pain) indicated for pulp therapy ,The tooth should have had no history of infection (abscess) or swelling and no evidence of periapical pathosis or soft tissue infection/ inï¬â??ammation near site of injection.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Medically compromised patients- with known history of cardiovascular, hepatic, epilepsy, renal disease, uncontrolled diabetes and patients on antiplatelet/anticoagulant medications. ,Patients with known history of plasma cholinesterase deficiency and patients known to be allergic to amide local anesthetics ,Evidence of infection near the proposed injection site as this might affect the ef�cacy of local anaesthesia. ,Non vital teeth and teeth other than primary mandibular molars. ,Intake of analgesics on the day of treatment.
