Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: ICU intubated patients on mechanical ventilation written informed consent

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: age 60 years patients with neuro-muscular weakness traumatic brain injury patients duration of mechanical ventilation > 10 days
