Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1)ASA I and II 2)Age 18-50 yrs, either sex 3)Elective anorectal surgeries (fistulectomy, fissurectomy,haemorrhoidectomy, lateral internal sphincterotomy, perianal sinus, perianal abscess incision and drainage)

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1) ASA >II 2)Diabetic and hypertensive patients 3) Patients previously on alpha agonists,steroids, antidepressants. 4) Contra indication for regional techniques 5) Patient refusal 6) Patients with history of drug allergies
