Intervention1: Physiotherapy Exercises: Deep breathing exercises, Huffing and Coughing Exercises. Exercises to improve muscle strength, Pelvic tilting
Knee Rolling, Buttocks lift and Head lift exercises Control Intervention1: Respiratory exercises & Abdominal strength training: All the patients of group A will receive respiratory exercises and abdo
Knee Rolling, Buttocks lift and Head lift exercises. All the patients will be reassessed on post operative day 7 and at 3 months with the same outcome measures. Abdominal strength also will be checked

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Post-operative patients with laparotomy/open abdominal surgery

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Subjects with known neurological deficits. 2. Subjects with known cardio respiratory disease. 3. Subjects with unstable medical condition. 4. Subjects not willing to participate.

a) Visual Analogue Scale b) Barthel Index of Activities of Daily Living c) World Health Organization Quality of Life Scale (WHOQOL) Timepoint: All above measures will be taken on 1st day, 7th day & 1 month.
