Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients diagnosed with ventral hernias including primary ventral hernias and incisional hernias managed at this tertiary care centre

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients with obstruction or strangulation of hernia, recurrent incisional hernia, local or systemic infection or psychiatric illness precluding informed consent or surgery and patients unfit for general anaesthesia and pneumoperitoneum
