Interventions

Intervention1: group B intervention group(Combination therapy- oral steroids and intratympanic platelet rich plasma): patients in combination therapy will receive same steroid regime as well as 2 dose

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Unexplained sudden sensorineural hearing loss, which is defined as a sensorineural hearing loss of at least 30 dB at 3 contiguous frequencies over a period of 2. Normal tympanic membrane on otoendoscopy 3. No history of ear disease in the affected ear 4. Age 18-50 years

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients with conductive HL, mixed HL or other causes of sensori-neural hearing loss. 2. Patients with perforated ear drum 3. Age 50 yrs 4. Operated ear 5. Individuals with a previous history of ear discharge

Hearing gain reporting as per American Association of Otorhinolaryngology-Head Neck Surgery guidelines with PTA at 0.5-,1-,2- and 3KHz and recovery outcome using modified Siegleâ??s criteria.Timepoint: follow up at 2nd and 4th week

Improvement in speech discrimination score (SDS) Reduction in tinnitus perception in both groups based on Tinnitus Functional Index and Tinnitogram.Timepoint: follow up at 2nd and 4th week
