Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Aged between 18 to 40 years 2. AO/OTA-42 Tibial fractures 3. Isolated closed fracture or open (upto grade 2 Gustilo-Anderson) fractures of tibia amenable to fixation with intramedullary nail 4. No previous history of knee surgery 5. No previous history of chronic knee pain 6. Patient giving consent for study
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Age less than 18 and more than 40 2. Pre-operative history of knee pain or arthritis 3. Intra-articular tibia fracture 4. Pathological fracture 5. Prior fracture of ipsilateral tibia 6. Previous knee surgery 7. Polytrauma patients and patients with fractures in the ipsilateral limb 8. Patient not giving consent for study 9. Pregnant females
