Eligibility
Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: ASA grade I patients posted for elective laparoscopic cholecystectomy under general anaesthesia.
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Hypermagnesaemia. 2. A known allergy to magnesium sulphate. 3. Any degree of heart block 4. Hypertensive or diabetic patients. 5. Acute cholecystitis. 6. Hemodynamically unstable patients 7. Pregnancy 8. BMI > 30 kg/m2
