Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Adults from 18 to 90 years of age 2. Adult patients undergoing General Anaesthesia/Regional Anaesthesia who require arterial cannulation

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: patients with 1. age 2. age >90 years 3. negative modified Allen test 4. history radial artery cannulation in the previous 30 days 5. history of peripheral vascular disease
