Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Chronic osteoporotic vertebral compression fractures ( >12 weeks) with increased tracer uptake in 99mTc MDP

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Fractures due to causes other than osteoporosis Acute ( Chronic fractures ( >12 weeks) with no raised uptake of tracer in 99mTc MDP bone scintigraphy Any psychiatric or cognitive condition limiting patientâ??s ability to understand the scoring systems used for outcome assessment

Reduction in pain assessed using 11 point Numerical Rating Score (NRS) Timepoint: Immediately after the procedure, 1 month, 3 months, 6 months and 1 year
