Intervention1: Nerve block: Inguinal paravascular block for post operative analgesia in lower limb orthopedic surgeries. Dose-35-40 ml 0f 0.25% of bupivacaine frequency- 1 time route of administration

Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1)Patients between 18 and 60 years. 2)Patients undergoing orthopaedic hip,femur and knee surgeries. 3)Patients posted for elective surgical procedure. 4)ASA GRADE I&II. 5)Patients requiring spinal anaesthesia.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1)Patients refusal for consent. 2)ASA GRADE III& IV. 3)Emergency surgeries. 4)Patients >60 years and 5)Patients allergic to ocal anaesthetic agents. 6)Patients requirind general anaesthesia. 7)Patients with infection in groin area. 8)Patients on anticoagulants or having coagulopathies. 9)Pregnant females.

MeasureTime frame
To compare postoperative analgesia by inguinal paravascular block and fascia iliaca compartment block in patient undergoing lower limb orthopedic surgeries of hip,femurand knee.Timepoint: 0,1,3,6,12 HRS

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
1)To compare the analgesic efficacy between inguinal paravascular block and fascia iliaca compartment block in patient undergoing lower limb orthopedic surgeries of hip,femur and knee. 2)To compare the time to first rescue analgesia requirement between two groups. 3)To compare the total analgesic consumption over 12 hours between two groups.Timepoint: VAS score will be noted between two groups at 0hrs(basal),1,3,6,12 hrs.
