Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
To compare the sensitivity and positive predictive value of two-point ultrasonography and auscultation method for diagnostic accuracy of gastric tube placement in critically ill patientsTimepoint: as soon as the test has been conducted on the desired sample size

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
To compare the specificity and negative predictive value of two-point ultrasonography and auscultation method for diagnostic accuracy of gastric tube placement in critically ill patientsTimepoint: after primary outcome has been calculated
