Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients of either sex belonging to Americans society of Anaesthesiologists (ASA) class 1 to 2, scheduled to undergo elective surgery for intracranial tumour resection will be enrolled.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients having Electrolyte imbalance Preoperative Glasgow Coma Scale (GCS) Hemodynamic instability Pre-existing renal failure (serum creatinine >2) Coagulation abnormalities Pregnancy and Lactation Diabetes mellitus Refusal to give consent will not be included in the study.
