Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients of either sex of age 18 to 50 years, belonging to American Society of Anaesthesiologists (ASA) physical status I or II scheduled for elective surgery under general anaesthesia.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients with 1 Obesity (BMI >30kg/m.m) 2 Hypertension 3 Ischaemic heart disease NYHA 2B and above 4 Anticipated difficult airway(Mallampatti class III and IV , thyromental distance 5 Chronic obstructive airway disease 6 Pregnancy will be excluded from the study.
