Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Adult patients( age 18-80 years) 2. Undergoing elective coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG) on cardiopulmonary bypass. 3. Preoperative sinus rhythm

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Contraindication of transesophageal echocardiography probe placement 2. Patients who are not in sinus rhythm and those on inotropic/ IABP support. 3. Associated severe ischemic mitral regurgitation or any other valvular lesion associated with ischemic heart disease. 4. Emergency procedure and renal dysfunction
