Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: All patients from age group 18-75 years planned for major coelomic surgeries,surface surgeries with an expected stay of more than 72 hours in the hospital
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: Patients with prolonged stay in icu/post anaesthesia recovery room for more than 72 hours post surgery Patients not willing to participate in the study Patients with tracheostomy in the postoperative period Patients discharged within 24-48 hours post surgery
