Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Inclusion criteria: 1. Patients of hypertension diagnosed according to JNC-8 guidelines 2. Patient in the age group of 30 to 70 years 3. Patient of either sex. 4. The patients of hypertension taking medication for at least 4 weeks

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patients with pregnancy induced hypertension, lactating mother 2. Patients with co morbid condition like: 3. Thyroid disease 4. Renal failure 5. Chronic liver disease 6. Auto immune diseases 7. Diabetes mellitus 8. Tuberculosis and leprosy 9. On drugs like corticosteroids, OCPââ?¬•s, any chronic therapy 10. Any recent major surgery
