Inclusion criteria: PATIENTS (AGED 20 YEARS OR OLDER) SCHEDULED FOR SURGICAL TREATMENT FOR HIP FRACTURE WITH AMERICAN SOCIETY OF ANESTHESIOLOGIST PHYSICAL STATUS I-III.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: ALLERGY TO LOCAL ANAESTHETICS 2. PREGNANCY 3. INABILITY TO UNDERSTAND AND USE THE NUMERICAL RATING SCALE (NRS 0-10, 0: NO PAIN, 10: WORST PAIN IMAGINABLE) AFTER INSTRUCTION 4. CHRONIC USE OF OPIOIDS 5. COAGULOPATHY 6. NEUROPATHY OR SEVERE DIABETIC MELLITES.
