Inclusion criteria: Requests of patients posted for planned Packed Red Blood Cells transfusions irrespective of age in- 1. Daycare 2. Casualty

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Requests for PRBC transfusions in- 1. Operating rooms 2. 24 hours post-operative period 3. ICUs 4. Wards

To study the blood bank turnaround time (BBTAT) for issuance of packed red cells for planned transfusions in outpatientsTimepoint: To study the workflow from the time of receipt of requisition and samples till issue. To understand the various factors influencing the BBTAT of PRBCs and recommend any feasible optimization strategies to minimize patient hospital wait times. This will be assessed after 4 months from start of study
