Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.Patient on mechanical ventilation >24hrs on Conventional Intermittent Mandatory Ventilation (CIMV) & Synchronized Intermittent Mandatory Ventilation (SIMV) mode 2.Ramsay sedation scale between 4 and 6 levels

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.Intracranial hypertension >30 mmHg, 2.Pneumothorax 3.Hemodynamic instability (mean arterial pressure 5 μg/kg/min and Noradrenalin >0.5 μg/kg/min) 4.Rib fractures, unstable thorax, any severe chest deformity
