Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: For Cases: All new histopathologically confirmed cases will be enrolled. Date of diagnosis should be less than 6 months from the date of enrolment Self-reported age between 20-70 years For Control: Controls will be drawn from visitors with no history of cancer and accompanying with patients of any cancer site Controls with the first degree relatives of patients with esophageal cancer and head and neck cancers will be not be included. The proportion of controls from visitors for any individual cancer site will not exceed 20%. Self reported age between 20-70 years

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: For case & Control Pregnant women will not be included in this study
