Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. Recent-onset vesicobullous skin lesions clinically suggestive of bullous pemphigoid 2. Aged 18 years and above
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1)Patients not willing to give consent 2.Patients not willing to follow up for 6 months

| 1)Bullous Pemphigoid Disease Activity Index (BPDAI) shall be calculated at baseline in all patients, including the total BPDAI activity score and the total BPDAI damage score 2)histopathological and Direct immunofluorescence patterns: 3) Expression of DPP-4, DPP-8, DPP-9 and Caspase-1 by immunohistochemistry (IHC) in the biopsy specimens shall also be determined in all subjects. 4)time taken to remission 5.)ELISA for anti- BP180 and BP 230 antibodies shall be done to detect antibodies Timepoint: 1)Bullous Pemphigoid Disease Activity Index (BPDAI) shall be calculated at baseline and monthly 2)Histopathological and Direct immunofluorescence patterns, Expression of DPP-4, DPP-8, DPP-9 and Caspase-1 by immunohistochemistry (IHC) ELISA for anti- BP180 and BP 230 antibodies shall be done at baseline and at 6 months or at time of remission (whichever is earlier) | — |
