Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Early inflammatory arthritis (less than 1 year duration) Clinical diagnosis can include rheumatoid arthritis, systemic lupus erythematosus, sjogrenâ??s syndrome.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients with obvious deformities of hand joints, co-existent generalized osteoarthritis (with distal inter-phalangeal joint involvement) and systemic sclerosis related arthritis.
