Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Age: 18 to 55 years 2. Gender: both male and female 3. ASA grade I or II 4. Duration of surgery minimum of 2 hours

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Patient refusal 2. Diabetic patient 3. Hypertensive patient 4. Patient on drugs causing hypo or hyperglycemia like steroids, OHA, etc. 5. Contraindication to any of the study drugs 6. Patient requiring Rapid sequence intubation
