Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients admitted in ICU on Mechanical ventilation for > 24 hours and about to receive their 1st T-piece trail .

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients refusal , Neuromuscular diseases , Diaphragmatic paralysis , Increased intra - abdominal pressure , breach in skin where diaphragmatic USG needs to be done , Tracheostomized patients
