Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: patients posted for elective endoscopic transnasal transsphenoidal excision of sellar and suprasellar lesion with ASA grade I and II

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: patient refusal, age less than 18yrs and more then 60 yrs,ASA grade III and IV, proptosis,pregnant and lactating mothers, history of anaphylaxis, presence of significant co morbidities like CAD, COPD,SHT and CKD.

Correlation between static automated perimetry with visual evoked potential before and after surgery. Correlation of intraoperative VEP with postoperative visual field defect.Timepoint: Preoperative, Intra-operative period before resection,every five mins during resection, after resection, just before extubation and on the third postoperative day
