Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: all children having beta thalassemia major registered at gmc aurangabad

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.patients having known hypersensitivity to hydroxyurea 2.patients with thalassemia internediate,sickle cell thalassemia 3.beta thalAassemia having chronic illness like hiv,hbv,tb 4 splenectomised beta thalassemia patients
