Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Women undergoing hysterectomy for benign uterine pathology.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Women with thrombophilia,allergy to tranexamic acid,on going hematuria, subarachnoid hemorrhage or antithrombotic treatment, Previous or active thromboembolic disease, family history of thromboembolism,underlying heart,liver ,kidney or pulmonary diease, malignant disease, previous history or family history of seizure or convulsion
