Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Children in the age group 1 month to 15 years admitted in PICU with shock, post resucitation and 1) On vasopressors of noradrenaline equivalent dose 0.1 to

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Children with 1) Burns/ Gastrointestinal surgery/ Abdominal Trauma/ Intraabdominal hypertension/ Abdominal compartment syndrome/Peritonitis 2) Abnormal abdominal Symptoms/Signs,a)Progressive abdominal distension – Increase in abdominal girth measured (at the level of umbilicus) more than 2 cm in last 6 hrs, b)Absent bowel sounds, c)Persistant vomiting – More than 2 episodes of vomiting in last 6 hours, d)Altered GI aspirates – Bloody/Greenish/Greenish yellow/ Brownish aspirate in nasogastric/orogastric tube in last 6 hrs, e) Hematemesis in last 6 hrs, 3)AKI/SIADH/ other indications requiring fluid restriction of 5mmol/L or Rising trend in serum lactate ( >2mmol/L in last 6 hrs)
