Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: i.patients who are voluntarily willing to give written informed consent. ii.Subjects with periodontitis with pocket depth >5mm and CAL >3mm iii.systemically healthy

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: i.subjects taking flaxseeds,flaxseed products and sesames ii.subjects allergic to flaxseeds and sessame seeds and their products iii.pregnant/lactating women iv.subjects who are on medication/drugs which could influence periodontal staus v.smokers vi.subjects who have undergone SRP within 3 months vii.subjects who have taken antibiotics and analgesics ,steroids and immunosuppresive drugs within 3 months
