Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1)ASA 1 and ASA2 2)Age group 1-7years 3)Patients scheduled for elective surgeries

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1)Parent refusal 2) Children with upper airway disease 3)Allergy to drug under study. 4)Patients with any intranasal pathology. 5)Children with any congenital abnormality

1)Time of onset of sedation 2)Time required for easy separation from parents 3)Acceptance of IV cannula Timepoint: Baseline heart rate,mean arterial pressure,oxygen saturation and vitals every 10minutes upto 60minutes. Assessment of sedation score and separation score done every 10minutes.After adequate sedation &separation score acceptance of iv cannula assessed.
