Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. All consecutive cases of corticotroph adenomas diagnosed on resection specimens from 2002-2022 2. Clinical functional status known 3. Clinically functioning (i.e. Cushing disease) adenomas with T-pit + ACTH expression or clinically nonfunctioning adenomas with T-pit ± ACTH expression. 4. Adequate tumor tissue in the formalin fixed paraffin embedded blocks

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Corticotroph pituitary hyperplasia 2. Adenoma with apoplexy 3. Inadequate data on clinical functional status 4. Double adenomas/pluri-hormonal adenomas expressing ACTH
