Inclusion criteria
Inclusion criteria: 1. All patients presenting to the institute with pertrochanteric fractures of femur 2. Injury less than 3 weeks old 3. Low energy trauma
Exclusion criteria
Exclusion criteria: 1. Age 2. Pathological fracture 3. High velocity trauma 4. Polytrauma 5. Patient not giving consent 6. Inability to walk prior to surgery 7. Fractures more than 3 weeks old
