Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: ) Patients subjected to elective surgeries at Amala Institute of Medical Sciences during the time period January 2017 to June 2018 2) Cases where Laryngeal Mask Airway (LMA) is planned

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1) Any contraindication to Inhalational induction 2) Difficult Airway 3) Emergency Cases 4) Reactive airway disease

MeasureTime frame
Time to onset of induction of general anesthesia as recorded by time of cessation of voluntary finger tapping, the time of loss of eyelash reflex, the time of establishment of regular breathing and the time of return of conjugate gaze.Timepoint: Since primary outcome is the time to onset of anesthesia derived from various indicators, the time of assessment cannot be specified as it may vary from subject to subject. The various indicators will be continuously looked for and the time noted.
