Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Confirmation of clinical diagnosis of RAS. 2. Having a history of regularly recurring oral ulcers with atleast one episode per month. 3. Two week wash out period after the last treatment.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. History of any systemic disease. 2. Taking medications affecting oral ulcers (eg. Steroid). 3. Having chronic oral mucosal disease like lichen planus, Pemphigus vulgaris etc. 4. Having allergies to food or any content of the medications. 5. Pregnancy and breast feeding.

Primary

MeasureTime frame
To evaluate the efficacy of Triphaladi Kwath orally and kavala and Jatyadi Taila kavala on Number and size of ulcers with special reference to mouth ulcer.Timepoint: 6 weeks

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
1. To evaluate the efficacy of trial drugs on frequency of mouth ulcers 2. To evaluate the efficacy of trial drugs on Daha, Toda in mouth and Vivranoti Krachchha Mukha. Timepoint: 6 weeks
