Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: All children from 1 month to 1 year of age, weighing 3 to 10 kgs, of either sex, belonging to American Society of Anaesthesiologists (ASA) grade I and II, undergoing elective surgical procedures under general anaesthesia .

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Anticipated difficult airway, upper respiratory tract infection, raised intracranial pressure 2. Congenital anomalies of head, face and neck, cardiovascular and respiratory system
