Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
1.To assess percentage of lateral femoral cutaneous nerve of thigh blockade with each volume of local anesthetic 2.To assess sensory loss in branches of lumbar plexus by dermatomal mapping 3.To assess motor blockade evaluated by modified Bromage scoringTimepoint: onset will be noted every 10 minutes till 30 munutes after block Duration of block: till 24 hours of block Pain score at 6, 12, 18 and 24 hours of blocks

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
1. Pain score by NRS 2. Rescue analgesics requirement in first 24 hours 3.Quality of recovery at the end of 24 hours of surgeryTimepoint: Duration of block:till 24 hours of block Pain score at 6, 12, 18 and 24 hours of blocks
