Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Inclusion Criteria 1. Contacts (Individuals) who have been exposed to COVID-19 suspects or cases and are in quarantine. 2. Family members of the COVID positive cases 3. Subject ready to practice Pranayam.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Exclusion Criteria 1. Subjects with comorbidities that avert them from practicing Pranayam 2. Subjects who do not consent for the study 3. Severe cardiac patients etc.

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Primary outcome: 1.Percentage of COVID positive cases in the two arms. Timepoint: 1.Recruitment of samples and baseline data collection and Training (0-1 week) 2.Followâ??up period (4 weeks) 3. Collection of pre-intervention and post intervention data records at the end of 4th week (Rapid antibody test, psychological test) 4. Data analysis and report preparation 5. Continuation of Pranayama Session up to 12 weeks.

Secondary: 2. To determine the severity of COVID positive cases a) asymptomatic, b) symptomatic-but-mild, c) severe, to requiring hospitalization, d) fatal 3. To determine the effect on mental health of the subjects with the following. a) Mental health measured by Positive Mental Health Scale4 b) Level of stress as measured by Standard Stress Scale5 secondary Timepoint: Recruitment of samples and baseline data collection and Training (0-1 week) 2. Followâ??up period (4 weeks) 3. Collection of post therapy data records at the end of 4th week. 4. Data analysis and report preparation 5. Continuation of Pranayama Session up to 12 weeks.
