Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1.consenting adults aged 20 to 50 years for whom LMA is the airway of choice. 2.adults belonging to either sex with ASA grade 1 or 2

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1.patients with ASA grade 3 or more 2.pregnant women 3.obese patients (BMI more than 30) 4.patients with risk of aspiration

MeasureTime frame
Hemodynamic responses following LMA insertionTimepoint: ECG, systolic blood pressure, diastolic blood pressure, mean arterial pressure, pulse oximetry ,capnography will be recorded at 1 minute interval for the first 5 minutes and thereafter at 5 minutes interval
