Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Patients referred for fMRI and planned for intra operative mapping with Direct Cortical Stimulation for brain tumours located at or near the eloquent areas of cortex.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients not co-operative for fMRI. Pre-existing neurological / psychiatric illness.

Design outcomes

Primary

MeasureTime frame
Correlation would be performed between pre-operative fMRI and the intra operative snapshot via direct cortical stimulation. . Bland Altman plot will used to check the agreement of distance of mass from the motor or language area measured through functional MRI and through intraoperative DCS.Timepoint: Baseline

Secondary

MeasureTime frame
Utility of functional MRI. Fill-out feedback form will be procured from the surgeon, detailing how helpful fMRI was in in locating safe entry point and determining the optimal craniotomy extent.Timepoint: baseline
