Eligibility

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Willingness to participate in the study 2. BMI range of 18.5-29.9 kg/m2 3. Normal renal and liver function 4. Weight stability in the previous 3 months

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Consumption of any drugs that lowers body fat and increases energy expenditure 2. History of smoking or taking other leisure drugs 3. Consumption of alcohol in the previous 48 hours 4. Caffeine consumption ( >4 cups of coffee / day) in last 48 hours 5. History of antibiotic usage 4 weeks prior to the study 6. History or presence of clinically important disease 7. Participation in any nutritional study in the last 1 month

The study can also validate step counting devices against a gold standard method which is Doubly Labelled Water for estimation of energy expenditureTimepoint: The protocol is for 10 days
