Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: Recurrent tonsillitis Recurrent pharyngitis Chronic rhinitis Chronic sinusitis Otitis media with or without effusion

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: Patients less than 16 and above 60 Use of immunosuppressant or medications that interfere with vitamin D metabolism (eg; thiazide diuretics, phenytoin, carbamazepine, primidone, phenobarbitone, prednisolone more than 10mg/dl, methotrexate, azathioprine, cyclosporine). • Chronic diseases like diabetics, CKD,COPD, bronchial asthma • Acquired or congenital immunodeficiency • Hypercalcemia or nephrolithiasis • Malignancy • Pregnancy or planned pregnancy during the study period • Smoker • Patients with upper respiratory tract infection who have received supplementation with vitamin-D in the past 6 month period. • Severe acute respiratory illness (sudden onset of fever above 38°C, cough or sore throat, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, and requiring hospitalization ) • SARS-COV

MeasureTime frame
The study will deal with the most important challenge that vitamin D immunity research faces, ie, we will be conducting a prospective clinical study from observational association addressing the molecular mechanism in depth. â?¢ Hence the study may help in giving a clear picture on whether vitamin D can be used as therapy for some diseases or it can only be used to protect against the onset of disease. Timepoint: 24 months

The study may suggest if vitamin insufficiency also contributes towards disease in addition to its deficiency. . The study will give an insight to the mechanism of Vitamin D regulation in activation and proliferation of B-lymphocyte upon encountering an antigenTimepoint: 24 months
