Intervention1: Mamnjaka Ghanavati: Mamnjaka Ghanavati Dose: 250 mg 2 tabs BD with Warm water after Meal for 3 months Intervention2: Vijaysaradi Kwath 10 gm BD Amalaki Churna -2 gm with 2 gm Turmeric

Inclusion criteria

Inclusion criteria: 1. Healthy volunteers from the periphery of Jamnagar without any bar of caste, religion, occupation, and sex. 2. Volunteers will be assessed on the basis of a special questioner prepared for assessment of Health. Criteria for selection of cases 1.Diagnosed Patients of type 2 diabetes attending the O.P.D. and I.P.D. of I.P.G.T. & R.A. will be selected without any bar of caste, religion, occupation and sex. 2) Patients having age between 18 years to 60 years of both genders. 3) Patients having classical signs and symptoms of Madhumeha and Type â?? 2 Diabetes. 4) Known patients of Type 2 Diabetes and also the preliminarily diagnosed patients on the basis of signs and symptoms of the disease are confirmed by FBS and PPBS. FBS >= 110 mg/dl to 250mg/dl and or PPBS level >= 140 mg/dl to 300mg/dl 5) Patients who are taking allopathic medicines for diabetes will also be included in the study. The special record will be maintained for the dosage of the medicine they are taking and the dose will be tapered as per results obtained.

Exclusion criteria

Exclusion criteria: 1. Healthy volunteers or Patients having age less than 18 years and more than 50 years. 2. Cases of other than type-2 diabetes (Madhumeha). 3. Volunteers or patients who are not willing to enroll in survey study. Exclusion Criteria for cases : 1) Patients age less than 18 year and more than 60 year. 2) Patients having FBS level less than 110 mg/dl or more than 250mg/dl and or PPBS level less than 140 mg/dl or more than 300mg/dl. 3) IDDM, Juvenile DM, Gestational DM 4) Prameha Pidika (Diabetic non-healing wound), Systemic infection, active infection other than superficial mild skin infestation. 5) Patients with severe complications like CVD, Nephropathy, Neuropathy, Retinopathy, Diabetic foot, fatal diabetic complication etc.

Clinical study would give clear results at which level lifestyle modification controls blood glucose level in type 2 diabetes as well as would get results of established formulation of Vijayasaradi Kwath, Amalaki Churna & Mamanjaka Ghanavati as add on therapy as well as therapeutic treatment. It would inspire the proper clinical use and improves its therapeutic utility of potent drugs in Ayurveda.Timepoint: 2 years

MeasureTime frame
1) Prakriti wise percentage of (Possible incidences) of type 2 diabetes would get from this study. So physicians can advise particular Prakriti person for lifestyle modification for prevention of non- communicable diseases especially diabetes.Timepoint: 2 years
